Join us in our favorite North African country, as we explore the beautiful and historically ancient city of Marrakesh, Morocco. Bordering the Mediterranean sea and the Atlantic Ocean, Morocco is truly a land of cultural fusion; where Africa meets the Middle East, with a European twist hailing from France. This predominantly Muslim country is colorful and diverse. Known for it's beautiful architecture, textiles, Arab culture and so much more! During this Glossy Getaway, you will experience the best of Marrakesh and many surrounding areas of this fascinating North African country. From shopping in the Souks (traditional market places), spending one night under the stars at a luxury camp in the middle of the desert; to exploring small Moroccan villages in the Atlas Mountains, visiting the Yves Saint Laurent Mansion and so so much more. From mosques to the coastline, from riding camels to seeing goats hanging out in trees (yes trees!), from beach clubs to Moroccan spas, this will be an action packed adventure of a lifetime! So get ready to learn some Arabic with a side of French, as we dive into this action packed 7 day, 6 night bucket list Glossy Getaway.

If you're NOT ready to experience new things, immerse yourself in different cultures with a positive attitude and let go of stereotypical Americanized vacation experiences, this Getaway may not be for you. If you physically struggle with walking , going up/down stairs and uneven surfaces, this getaway may not be suited for you.
If you have a negative mindset, complain a lot, just don't "do" people or socially struggle getting along with others, a Glossy Getaways will not suite any of your travel needs. As we are a GROUP travel experience that believes in exploring new places, with new faces and building new friendships with like minded people.
Morocco is a predominantly Muslim country, if you find it difficult to dress appropriately in CERTAIN settings (NOT all), please consider booking another Getaway. Being culturally appropriate and respectful is a TOP priority of ours. We firmly believe that there is a time and a place for everything and encourage everyone to be mindful enough to understand when being modest will be necessary in SOME places HOWEVER, there will also be plenty of time to turn up and get sexy, you WILL be able to do both in Marrakesh.
This getaway is for a 21 and UP crowd.
Your passport must not be expiring within in LESS than 6 months DURING the time of the trip
Please note: As of now Morocco REQUIRES that you enter with a negative PCR test OR show your vax CARD prior to entering the country. LASTLY, your flight needs to depart one before the official "Day 1" arrival date IF you want to make the most of this Getaway. THIS IS DUE TO traveling "FOWARD" in time, when returning home we will be traveling "BACKWARDS" time wise.
Lets get into the itinerary:
Please note: your flight needs to depart the DAY BEFORE your official "Day 1"arrival date. In order to arrive on the 8th of November, you must depart from your home airport on the 7th of November. This is due to time zone differences, and one short layover in route.
Day 1- Welcome to Morroco!
You will arrive in Marrakesh via the Marrakesh Menara International Airport, where your arranged transportation will be waiting to wisk you away to your Moroccan accommodations. Take the time to get acclimated and relax before our official welcome dinner.
Day 2: Guided City Tour
Today we will be exploring the city of Morocco with a local tour guide. Points of interest during our tour will be in modern Marrakesh and the ancient Medina, where we will enter the Souks (open air market) and discover endless shops of authentic Moroccan goods. Here we will find items like jewelry, home furnishing, spices, street food, and plenty of local entertainment. Followed by more authentic experiences at Bahia Palace and La Koutoubia Mosque. Today will be jam-packed with cultural encounters, amazing photo-ops and learning as much as you can about Marrakesh and Moroccan culture. Starting our day off with a city tour is important because it gives you a good idea of where you're at and you'll be able to make mental notes of places you might want to revist.
Day 3: Majorelle Gardens + Moroccan cooking class
The picturesque Majorelle Gardens, aka YSL gardens, is a Marrakesh MUST see. If you're a fan of Instagram worthy content, or just beautiful photos, you'll absolutely love it here. There is also an optional YSL museum inside of the gardens that you can visit for an additional price. After our gardens experience, we'll head off to learn how to cook like a Moroccan at a private cooking class. Lunch will be the fruits of our own labor, so get ready to cook with your heart and soul!
Day 4: FREE DAY!
It's the weekend! Do you boo!
Day 5 : Road trip to Essaouira
Today we'll be taking a road trip to our favorite coastal town! This breezy beach town is filled with art and sits right along the ocean side. Although this isn't a beach trip, you'll be able to put your feet in the sand if that's what your heart desires. Take it all in! There's just something special about feeling the breeze on the coast of North Africa. Essaouira is also famous for having delicious seafood and being one of the filming locations for Game of Thrones, this little town does NOT disappoint. It will be the perfect break from the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh and give everyone the chance to see another side of this very vast country.
Day 6: Desert Camp
Pack an overnight bag and get ready to head off in to the desert! We will enjoy one night under the stars at the Luxury Agafay Camp grounds, located in the Agafay desert. Camel rides and ATV excursions are included, as well as meals and night time entertainment. Have you ever sat poolside in the middle of the desert? Today you will! This glamping experience will be like no other!
Day 7: Free day
After leaving the desert and returning to our hotel, you'll have the rest of the day to yourself to do any last minuet shopping, maybe get a hammam (traditional Moroccan massage), or anything else you have in mind! Tonight we will come together one last time to enjoy dinner out on the town.

Day 8: Departure
After breakfast (depending on your flight time) we officially say farewell, until the next time we come together again. You will be transported by our tour guide back to the airport in Marrakesh, to begin your journey home.

All payments are non refundable and non transferable, unless a getaway is postponed/canceled by Glossy Getaways due to an unforeseen event like the covid-19 pandemic. If you decide not to go on a getaway all payments are non refundable and non transferable.
In the event of an unforeseen/pandemic related cancelation BY Glossy Getaways, the getaway will be postponed to another date and a credit will be issued. The credit can be used towards the postponed getaway or any other (non-sold out) getaway within a 12 month period. After 12 months the credit will be null and void.
The amount of any credit will also be based upon the airlines policies, and tour company cancelation policies as well. Airlines can take up to 120 days for refunds. In the event of any cancellations at fault of the airlines or tour companies, the amount of the refund will be based on their individual refund policies only.
Given the ever changing international traveling COVID related guidelines, it is recommended by Glossy Getaways to have a vaccine card, although it may not always be necessary pr mandatory (based on the country of entry). Glossy Getaways will inform you of any/all required documentation that must be completed to gain entry into any country. Thoroughly reading all of the details provided by Glossy Getaways is absolutely necessary to avoid any confusion, as Glossy Getaways will not be held responsible for any incorrect or personal missing documentation.
If a country requires any covid19 related paperwork or documentation and you fail to comply or produce such documentation, a refund will not be available.
Travel insurance is inexpensive and suggested, and can be purchased for an additional cost. Glossy Getaways will not be held accountable or responsible for any medical or covid-19 related issues while abroad.
Flight pricing for packages that include flights in the total cost, are contingent upon flights not exceeding the allotted amount set per each individual Glossy Getaway. Example: if the package includes up to $1200 towards flights, and flights do not drop to $1200 or lower, the guest is held responsible for the remaining cost of the flight, after the allotted package cost has been subtracted
All policies are subject to change and all Glossy Getaways itineraries are tentative can be adjusted as to the needs of each getaway.
By signing up for a Glossy Getaway with your submission form and making your first deposit payment, you acknowledge that you have fully read, understand and agree to abide by this contractual agreement and Glossy Getaways rules and regulations.
